Partnership is the Cornerstone of a Strong Community

Vancouver has a rich history of civic involvement and community-wide concern for children.  Hough Foundation leverages this historical strength to build partnerships to help children access their education and create hope for a successful future. Our partners are neighbors, businesses, faith communities, public and private agencies from all over Clark County.  We share a common belief that the needs of our children cannot be defined by geographical boundaries.  We would like to thank the following partners for making the future so much brigher for children in Vancouver.

Our programs are funded primarily through community events and we are so grateful for the support of our business partners:

Riverview Community Bank presented our November 5th, 2011 Wine Dinner titled, Five Restaurants, One Reservation held at The Hilton.  Supporting Sponsors included Atlantic & Pacific Freightways, The Columbian, The Hilton, Lapellah, Tommy O’s, La Bottega and Mint Tea.

First Independent Bank presented our 2011 Vancouver Sip & Stroll with support from The Columbian, New Phoenix/Last Frontier Casinos, Niche Wine Bar, The Brickhouse, Vancouver Downtown Association, Uptown Village Association and IQ Credit Union.

The Uptown Coop du Jour was sponsored by Mint Tea on Main Street

Thank you to Three Kings, Nutter Corporation, Realvest Corporation, SW Washington Contractors Association & Waste Connections & Facilities Services, Inc. for donating services in the effort to clean up the port property that fell victim to illegal dumping of trash and construction debris.  We also thank the many community members, contractors and non-profits who offered to help us with the clean up.

A special thank you to Christina Roberts, a Digital Technology and Culture student at Washington State University Vancouver and owner of Netthrills Design, for sharing her time and talent in creating our new website!
