Family Service Center
The Family Services Center makes a difference to children and families today that are facing many challenges. These challenges can become barriers to a successful education.
Hough Foundation established the Family Services Center to meet the needs of our diverse school community. We are now proud to be partnering with the Vancouver School District and their FCRC network. When children are fed, clothed, nurtured and cared for, the whole community benefits. The Family Services Center is designed to respond quickly and effectively to the ever changing needs of our most precious resource — children. We offer warm clothes, coats, shoes and school supplies so children are able to go to school prepared to learn. If a family is in crisis, we are here to help. A holiday help program that meets the needs of Hough families and neighbors is offered through the Family Service Center in partnership with the faith community, individuals and businesses.
Lunch Buddy Program
The Lunch Buddy Program provides weekly one-on-one lunch time mentors for students. The Hough Foundation facilitates a thriving program at Hough School. The Lunch Buddy program provides a positive influence for kids.
